What makes us different

Island insiders.

We are not an agency that sells islands. We are island people who open ours to you, with the care of someone who knows how everything works here.

Island-only

Specialists only in islands

Island logistics is a craft of its own: flights, inter-island boats, water, supplies, permits and weather. It is all we do, and that know-how travels with us to every new island.

Local team

A local team with the full craft

We live in Galápagos and know tourism from every side: the hotel front desk, running lodges and designing retreats.

Our territory

Island wellness, done right

Most Galápagos travel is cruises and wildlife tours. Retreats, yoga, rest and restorative nature are an almost empty space, and it is ours.

Real impact

Travel with purpose

Every journey helps care for the island you visit, its nature and its people. Travelling with us leaves something good behind.

Our values

Five values, five things you'll notice.

If you can't feel it on the trip, it isn't a value. It's just a phrase.

Live fully

Real, not catalog

Experiences that feel lived, not packaged.

You'll notice: every itinerary includes a local moment you won't find on any website.
Human first

People before bookings

A real person, from first message to last day.

You'll notice: we reply in under an hour, and someone real is with you the whole trip.
Island mastery

We know how it works

Every detail of island life, handled.

You'll notice: before you arrive, a briefing on water, weather, luggage and Park rules.
Care for the island

The island comes first

Always, and in every decision.

You'll notice: we follow every Park rule, and each trip helps care for the island you visit.
Honest by design

No surprises

Clear, simple, true.

You'll notice: clear prices and policies before you pay. We only promise what we deliver.
About us

We live here. Let us show you.

“We live in Galápagos. Island life taught us that nothing works like on the mainland. That's why we created Vive Island: so you can live the island the way locals do, with a team that knows how everything really works.”

After 9 years living in Galápagos and 6 years working in island tourism, we've seen travel from every side of the counter. Water, food, transport, permits and even fun have their own rules here. In a national park, even more so.

Traveler stories

In their own words.

Good to know

Before you fly.

How do I get to Galápagos?

Flights depart from Quito or Guayaquil (mainland Ecuador) to Baltra (for Santa Cruz) or San Cristóbal. Before boarding you'll need the Transit Control Card, and on arrival you pay the Galápagos National Park entry fee. We'll send you a step-by-step briefing once you book.

Are the Park entry fee and flights included?

No. Flights, the Transit Control Card and the National Park entry fee are paid separately and their amounts are set by the authorities. We'll tell you the current amounts in your proposal, so there are no surprises.

When is the best time to visit?

Galápagos is a year-round destination. December to May is warmer, with calmer seas and greener landscapes. June to November is cooler, with richer marine life and more active seas. Wildlife is wild: we never promise sightings, but we know where and when your chances are best.

Who guides the visits?

All visits to National Park sites are led by naturalist guides certified by the Galápagos National Park, through authorized local operators, as the Park requires.

How do payments and cancellations work?

You'll receive a clear written proposal with everything included and not included, plus our payment and cancellation policy, before you pay anything. Payments are processed securely online.

Can you organize a retreat for my group?

Yes. Yoga and wellness retreats are our signature line. Tell us your group size, dates and style and we'll design it with you, from venue and teachers to the local moments in between.
